Founded in 1825, Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals deliver
services at several locations: Center City Philadelphia, Jefferson
Hospital for Neuroscience (9th & Walnut Streets, in Center City
Philadelphia), Methodist Hospital Division in South Philadelphia,
Ford Road, Jefferson HealthCARE - Voorhees, New Jersey, an outpatient
facility, several ambulatory care satellites, and radiation therapy
centers. Together, the Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals have
927 acute care patient beds, 180 subacute and long-term care beds,
and major programs for a wide range of clinical specialties.

nationally renowned Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson University
Hospital is designated as a clinical cancer center by the National
Cancer Institute (NCI).
Jefferson Hospitals' Level I Regional Resource Trauma Center has
been designated by the National Institute of Handicapped Research
as a Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center.
