Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - evaluates, treats and cares for patients
with breathing problems. These problems may be chronic conditions
such as asthma or emphysema, or acute breathing problems caused
by premature birth, heart attack or accident. Part of their role
is to help patients (including ventilator-dependent patients) regain
or adapt their breathing capacity as well as to monitor their progress.
