Medical Technologist (MT)

Medical Technologist (MT) - analyzes blood, body fluids and other human tissues using a variety of medical laboratory tests and precision instruments. Their evaluations play a vital role in determining the presence, extent and possible cause of disease.

Education or Training Requirement:		Bachelor's Degree
Requirements for Certification, Registration or Licensure:		Registration Exam
*Earning Potential:**		$33,000 to $50,000
Where They Work:		Hospitals, independent laboratories, clinics, physicians' offices, public health facilities, molecular diagnostics and molecular biotechnology companies, in vitro fertilization laboratories, research laboratories.
